This unique quatrefoil design features five step-cut emeralds, including a central rectangular stone surrounded by four square emeralds.
Cannetille is characterised by the use of delicate gold wires or finely hammered sheets, showcasing intricate craftsmanship. This technique gained immense popularity in the early 19th century, particularly during the 1820s and 1830s. Common motifs included intricate designs such as tendrils, scrolls, coils, beehives, and rosette-like patterns with a delicate, web-like appearance.
